Have you ever longed for your husband, brother, son, father or other men in your life to feel connected to and be able to meet with a group of their Christian brothers as you do with your DOK Christian sisters?  Don’t you wish there were such a group available? There is ! ! !  It’s called The Brotherhood of St Andrew

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew
A ministry to Men and Boys since 1883

Vision Statement:

Sharing ministry resources for the spread of Christ’s Kingdom

Mission Statement:

To make men, women and youth disciples of Christ

Men’s Ministry

Historical background:

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew has been a ministry to men for over 125 years. By emulating the act of Andrew, the first Brothers Andrew, led by James L. Houghteling, our Founder, reached out to men in rooming houses, in the Chicago area of St. James Parish, which is now a Cathedral. The young men provided Bibles to these men for study, and invited the men to come to church for worship, to hear the Holy Scriptures and to accept Jesus into their lives

Our Rule of Life is a commitment to three disciplines:

Prayer, Study and Service

If your church doesn’t currently have a Brotherhood group, talk with someone at the Brotherhood and help your church to get one started or your favorite guy to join a chapter.
